The New Cashless Society; Walmart Stops Issuing Paychecks and Issues Payroll Cards

Following our previous theme of George Orwell’s classic “1984″, we find it only appropriate to author a quick post on the fact that the nation’s largest employer has now stopped issuing paychecks. Instead, they are issuing “payroll cards” for those individuals who decline direct deposit. Walmart reports employing more than 1.4 million people and says it will reduce over 250,000 pounds of paper via the new payroll cards.

Most would say this is a pragmatic and sensible approach to cutting corporate SG&A expenses. In our tin hat wearing world, however, this is just one more step towards an eventual cashless society where the rights of individual privacy will have gone by the wayside.

At least the payroll cards do allow for a limited number of ATM cash withdrawal transactions without fees.

As stated on an ABC News Article (link provided below); “Michael W. Brandl, an economics professor at the University of Texas at Austin’s McCombs School of Business, questions if this will lead employees to save less.”

He said it would be “much easier just to spend it, as opposed to going to the bank, cashing the check and putting $20 into the ‘rainy day’ fund or jar.”

The thing we at TheSovereignState.com would like to know is; once you register your card, just who has access to your spending habits, debit transactions, cash withdrawal transactions, purchases, all down to the very last penny of your paycheck, should you choose to completely exhaust your new payroll card that is?

Louisiana Law Outlaws Cash Transactions

During this year’s busy legislative session, an obscure bill (House bill 195) has been signed and has become law in Louisiana. This new law, in what seems more appropriate on a page of George Orwell’s classic “1984″, outlaws the use of cash in transactions during the exchange of second hand goods, i.e. in garage sales. The bill was co-authored by State Representative Rickey Hardey who claims the bill’s intent was to target criminals who sell stolen merchandise.

Interesting… the last time I checked, it was still against the law to steal something; it’s called theft. And for those inquiring minds; I believe it’s still illegal to “receive” stolen property; it’s called imagine that, “receiving stolen property.” I think that sums up both sides of a 2-sided transaction.

Now we’re supposed to believe we need another law to make it illegal to use cash in such a transaction?

The last time I checked the latest CSI: Miami Show (sorry, I can’t speak from experience), criminals don’t usually walk around buying stolen property from each other with credit cards.

The solution, according to Mr. Hardey, is to impose legislation to “track” these transactions, thus punishing 99% of the law-abiding public over the 1% of potential criminals.

The solution in a sane world would be to simply not steal and to not knowingly pay for and receive stolen property. The criminals are already committing a crime when they steal and then attempt to unload their stash. We don’t need a new cash tracking mechanism that will inevitably hurt business, especially with a (%+ unemployment rate in the U.S.

This is another unjust law that deserves nothing less than civil disobedience. It is none of the Government’s business what law abiding citizens are buying and selling or what medium they may be using to transact such agreements, whether barter, gold, silver, cash or jelly beans.

Does the TSA Pat Down of an 8 Month Old Baby Make Us More Secure?

Have we finally lost our God given common sense and our way as a nation?

By the comments posted on MSNBC.com I am starting to believe we may have finally lost our way as a once great nation and a beaming star of hope for other nations around the globe.

In what should be a time to recognize the historical and brave actions of our special forces last week, we are instead given another reminder of what is rapidly becoming very wrong about the Great US of A.

Benjamin Franklin is quoted as saying;

“Those who would give up Essential Liberty to purchase a little Temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.”

Our Founding Fathers understood what personal responsibility and common sense meant. They understood “real” freedom and “real” safety can not be guaranteed by the State. It is only through individual acts of personal responsibility that can ultimately deliver any sense of personal safety and personal freedom.

I am ashamed at the sad state of affairs our policy makers have directed us towards. Why does it take a 9-11 type event to show what our great country and its people are capable of?

In our increasingly complex world we live in I don’t blame those who would rather turn to the excitement of a good football game with friends over spending a little time to read and understand history and how we got here as a people. I don’t blame them for not recognizing we may be just another false flag event away from causing irreversible changes to our country, our way of life, and our constitution.

I know we as individuals are given the ultimate potential to fulfill a great mission in life. My only hope is that we give a little thought and use common sense in our actions. If that means we refuse to enforce those laws, regulations, and policies that are unjust, then that is the conclusion I would expect any reasonable person to make.

I will no doubt receive numerous emails in response to this letter; most likely of the unfavorable sort and that is fine. One right we still partially have is the right to free speech and I’ll fight to the grave for someone else’s right to free speech even if they choose to use that right in speech against me.

My only request is that as you read this short grief, that you step back and look at it from a broader perspective.

This isn’t necessarily about a specific act by a specific organization or particular individual. It is about the overarching trend and path we as U.S. citizens are on at the direction of our policy makers. Today it’s a pat down of an 8 month old baby, what will tomorrow bring, or the next day, or next year? What liberties will we be willing to give up a decade from now for the “perception” of safety?

Those are the honest questions you must ask yourselves and then you must help us get off this path and back on the path of personal responsibility and common sense.

Our rights are ultimately granted under God; rights no Sovereign has the power to change or revoke. It is only faith in our Lord, that we will every truly be safe.

There are risks all around us, there always has been. I for one, however don’t need to see an 8 month old baby patted down to make me feel “safe” while traveling to my aunt Hilda’s house.

Is the U.S. Government Contemplating Seizing Private 401Ks?

Does a plan by the U.S. Government to seize it’s citizen’s private 401K accounts seem far fetched?  To most unaware Americans, I would presume it would sound incomprehensible.

However, that is exactly what cash-strapped Argentina did during its own debt crises. Argentina essentially “nationalized” $30 billion in private pension funds ahead of a tough budget year.

There is talk currently underway on Capitol Hill to discuss just such a plan.

Dear Secretaries Solis and Geithner:

As members of the Republican Savings Solutions Group, we write today to express our strong opposition to any proposal to eliminate or federalize private-sector defined contribution pension plans, such as 401(k)s, or impose burdensome new requirements upon the businesses, large and small, who choose to offer these plans to their employees.

In the Annual Report of the White House Task Force on the Middle Class, Vice President Biden discussed at length the creation of so-called “Guaranteed Retirement Accounts, (GRAs)” which would provide for protection from “inflation and market risk” and potentially “guarantee a specified real return above the rate of inflation” — presumably at taxpayer expense.  In the Report, the Vice President recommended “further study of these issues.”

The Vice President’s comments are troubling, insofar as they come on the heels of testimony before Congress from supporters of GRAs proposing to eliminate the favorable tax treatment currently afforded to 401(k) plans, and instead use those dollars to fund government-invested GRAs into which all employees would be required to contribute a portion of their salary — again, with a government subsidy.  These advocates would, essentially, dismantle the present private-sector 401(k) system, replacing it instead with a government-run investment plan, the size and scope of which remain to be seen.  This despite data showing that 90 percent of households have a favorable opinion of the existing 401(k)/IRA system.

In light of these facts, we write today to express our opposition in the strongest terms to any effort to “nationalize” the private 401(k) system, or any proposal that would dismantle or disfavor the private 401(k) system in favor of a government-run retirement security regime.

Similarly, and more recently, the Departments of Labor and Treasury have jointly issued a “Request for Information” regarding the “annuitization” of 401(k) plans through “Lifetime Income Options.”  While we appreciate the Departments’ seeking guidance and information from all parties and stakeholders in advance of regulatory activity, we strongly urge that the Departments not proceed with any regulation in this area before they have carefully and thoroughly considered all of the information received.

More specifically, we urge that the Departments take no action to mandate that plan sponsors — often, small businesses — include a “lifetime income” or “annuitization” option if they choose to offer a 401(k) plan to their employees, or that beneficiaries take some or all of their retirement savings in such an option.  Data shows that 70 percent of Americans oppose the concept of a mandated annuity or government payout of their 401(k) plan. On a more fundamental level, Congress should not be in the business of choosing “winners” and “losers” among retirement security stakeholders.  Instead, we urge the Departments to make it easier for employers to include retirement income solutions in their savings plans and to help workers learn more about the value of their retirement savings as a source of retirement income.  Finally, to the extent new mandates and bureaucratic red tape from Washington push small employers out of the business of offering these plans to their employees, we would submit such an effort weakens, rather than strengthens retirement security.

We appreciate your consideration of our views in these important matters and stand ready to work with you and the Administration to promote secure and adequate retirement savings for all Americans.

Our government is out of control and it is up to each and every American citizen to take a proverbial if not a literal stand and say enough is enough. I don’t need the U.S. government to hold my hand and protect me from myself and my investment decisions. This Nanny State mentality must end now. There is only one Higher Power I seek for guidance and It is not draped in any flag or wielding a large gavel while strolling down Capitol Hill to a press conference.

The Case for Gold and Silver – The Real Thief in the Night

Ask any mainstream financial pundit about investing in gold and you’re likely to get a similar response. “Gold is a barbaric relic.” They simply don’t understand the value or the purpose of gold. They seem to forget the fact that gold was a mainstream asset class up until the 1990’s before the tech boom. It’s amazing what is forgotten in just a couple decades. In fact, ask two gentleman that I respect immensely who take two completely different approaches to investing; Warren Buffett, and Dave Ramsey, and amazingly, you get the same similar answer; “investing in gold is stupid”. When it comes to gold, they just don’t get it. They’re all just talking their book.

The financial pundits would love to tell you the truth. They can see how much money is flowing into previous metals and other commodities, but they, along with many others are paid to get on air and talk up the market. It’s their job to try and make you feel good about the market. For Mr. Buffett, one can hardly argue with his track record in equities. Until I’m making on average of 24% year over year returns for 3 decades, I’ll give him the respect he probably deserves. As for Dave Ramsey, he has made the bulk of his investment returns and passive income from real estate. It should come as no surprise that his daily radio show advice, aside from getting out of debt is to pay cash for investment real estate on your road to riches. To a large degree, I actually agree with that but for slightly different reasons as you’ll see below.

I don’t fault them; they’re all speaking from their own unique perspective and besides, how do you fault two gentleman that have reached the levels of success they have and work every day to give back much more than they made in the process? The whole is certainly larger than the sum of all their parts.

What they are doing, however is missing the main point. The purpose of buying gold, or silver for that matter, is not to “invest” in gold or silver. The purpose of buying gold is to “protect” or “preserve” purchasing power and wealth over the very very long term. It’s about properly asset allocating approximately 5%-15% of your net worth into something with the inflation protection properties few things other than gold or silver offer.

You don’t have to go back in history very far to encounter numerous examples of the devastating effects of inflation on the savings and livelihood of the middle class and others. Inflation is our true thief in the night and it is absolutely imperative that you take deliberate actions to protect your savings from the non-stop money printing by the majority of world governments today. Inflation is already here.

Putting a small amount of your liquid savings into precious metals should protect the majority of your purchasing power over the very long term. This is not about “investing” and hoping for a quick double or triple in value. It’s about holding precious metals long term to mitigate the slow withering effects that inflation has on your purchasing power.

Undoubtedly, you have noticed the rising prices of just about everything you buy. Is a box of Cheerios more valuable today than the same box a year ago? Of course not. What you’re seeing first hand is the effect of inflation and the decrease in purchasing power of the U.S. dollar. It’s the continual and gradual devaluation of the U.S. dollar and its ability to buy real goods. The slow and gradual loss of purchasing power has been a long term trend ever since we left the $20/oz. gold standard in 1932. Since the end of the original gold standard, the dollar has lost over 90% of its value and purchasing power due in large part to the open and rampant easy money printing policies that began in ernest in the 1970s after the complete abandonment of the gold standard in 1971. It’s a simple economics 101 supply and demand equation. As the supply of money increases, its value will decrease. It doesn’t get any simpler or truer than that.

Lets step through a familiar exercise to demonstrate how a small amount of gold in your liquid savings can help to preserve purchasing power and family wealth.

In 1930, an ounce of gold was held at a value of U.S. $20. This meant that you could freely exchange your $20 U.S. gold piece for $20 dollars in printed Federal Reserve Notes (dollars). Why you would ever do that is a question for another day and another article, but I digress. That same $20 in 1930 would buy you a nicely tailored man’s suit at the time. A suit for $20; not a bad deal.

That same U.S. $20 dollar bill today, would hardly buy a decent silk tie. That same one ounce of gold, however is a different story. That same one ounce gold coin today, valued at approx. $1494 as I write this, could easily be converted to paper currency and purchase a very nicely tailored men’s suit with a fair amount of change left over.

The above example is precisely the reason everyone should have a small portion of their liquid savings in “real” assets, like gold, like silver, or yes, even real estate. Tangible, real assets, not fiat currency should hold value over the very very long term and “preserve” and “protect” your purchasing power. It’s not about “investing” at all. Leave that to the traders and we’ll stick to protecting our families from the real thief in the night; inflation.

CA AB962 Ammunition Restriction Overturned in Court 1-18-2011

ALERT: CA AB 962 has been overturned in court 1/18/2011.
Two weeks before the implementation of AB 962, the Superior Court for Fresno County declared the new law “constitutionally vague” and overturned it. This momenteous decision benefits all gun owners in the state, for it was innocent gun owners, purchasing ammunition for handguns, that would have been harassed and inconvenienced by the law. That’s one for the Republic.

We urge you to take a minute and to re-write the Governor and express your discontentment with his decision to sign the Bill and remind him and other legislators and representatives that we will not forget their voting records. Californians have long memories and we will hold them accountable in future elections.

Did The White House Violate Federal Law By Asking Citizens To Turn In Their Neighbors for “Fishy” Comments?

In an act that may violate Federal Law, the Obama Administration, this week, has sent a communication via www.whitehouse.gov to millions of U.S. citizens. Their request was to ask them to turn in their friends and neighbors if they receive emails or communications regarding Barrack Obama’s Health Care Plan that seem “fishy”.

Here is a direct quote from Linda Douglass, Communications Director of the White House’s Health Reform Office.

“There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out there, spanning from control of personal finances to end of life care.  These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain emails or through casual conversation.  Since we can’t keep track of all of them here at the White House, we’re asking for your help. If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov.”

We at TheSovereignState.com realize that Nancy Ann DeParle, our newly “appointed” U.S. Health-Care Czar, whose office this communication was sent from is new to her post and may not be completely familiar with all Federal Statutes.  So we’ve decided to  give her a quick refresher on what the U.S. Government can and can not do in regard to collecting information on its citizens.

A little background from the Nixon Administration (1969-1974)

In 1972, The Supreme Court examined the Nixon Administration’s actions and determined that those actions violated American’s Fourth Amendment guarantee of right of privacy and protection against illegal search and seizure.  In addition, it was determined Nixon’s actions violated our Bill of Rights, specifically our First Amendment Right of Free Speech. Nixon sent his cronies to take pictures of and record U.S. citizens while expressing their First Amendment Right to Free Speech during protest rallies.

Shortly thereafter, Congress passed U.S. federal law preventing our Executive Branch from collecting such information on U.S. citizens while exercising their constitutional rights.

“Congress shall pass no law… abridging free speech of U.S. citizens.”

As an open question to the Obama Administration, Linda Douglass, and the new Health-Care Czar… what exactly are you doing with those solicited emails with private contact information on U.S. citizens?

While we anxiously await your response back, Mrs. Douglass, we think we’ve found just the type of “fishy” information you’re asking for.

In an act of selfless patriotism, it seems we have found some “fishy” inconsistencies coming directly from Mr. President Barack Obama himself and we thought you should know.

For example, Barack Obama as Senator, has consistently touted a single payer health care system. And just recently, President Obama was reported by the Wall Street Journal and quoted as saying…

“If I were designing a system from scratch, I would probably go ahead with a single-payer system.”

This seems in stark contrast to his comments against such a system.

So we ask, when was President Obama lying and when was he telling the truth?

A 4th Of July Message for Us All

“The Declaration of Independence”

IN CONGRESS, July 4, 1776″

“The unanimous Declaration of the thirteen united States of America,

When in the course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to separation.”

Good day;

As we stand on this eve of America’s 4th of July Holiday, this day seems ever more pressing as we look at the broader geopolitical arena presented in the world today.

Just 233 years ago on July 4th, 56 individuals including our country’s Founders signed the Declaration of Independence, setting into motion a series of events that would shape not only the formation of our country, but events that would shape the world in ways no one could have conceived of at their time.

The mere act of signing this Declaration, declaring that the then thirteen American Colonies were now independent states, and thus no longer a territorial part of the British Empire, can be likened to these individuals signing their own death warrants. By definition, their signature alone was an act of Treason against the Empire.

Our Founding Fathers understood the rights granted to them under God as Natural Law. That man possesses certain unalienable rights granted not by the sovereign power of a nation or of an empire, but those rights granted under God himself and that no sovereign power may infringe upon those rights.

The signing of that Document by our brilliant Founders was not a treasonous act, but a noble and brave act and one that was demanded of them by divine inspiration. It was not only their patriotic duty to stand forth against a then oppressive empire, but it was their divine duty under God to protect these unalienable rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness for themselves, their families, and their fellow men.

The above paragraph depicts an unquestionable truth in their intent by our Declaration’s 2nd sentence;

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”

It was their intention to build a better country under God’s Natural Law so that their families and fellow man may share in the richness of that country and to not be infringed upon in their daily pursuits.

At the close of the Continental Convention of 1787, a lady asked Benjamin Franklin, “Well, Doctor, what have we got – a Republic or a Monarchy?”
Benjamin Franklin’s response; “A Republic if you can keep it.”

Following in their wisdom, and for the sake of us all, I do hope we can keep our Republic intact as intended by our Founding Fathers.

Let the wisdom of our Founder’s words be a guiding light and inspiration to others in the world facing similar struggles as those faced by the American Colonies in the late 18th century;

Happy 4th of July America and stand strong for others that may be under their own oppressive regimes.

We Can’t Afford The Waxman-Markey Global Warming Bill

Most notably, Douglas Emendorf, the Director of The Congressional Budget Office, testified before the Senate Committee on Finance that Cap-and-Trade program costs for energy producers would be “passed along to consumers of energy and energy-intensive products.” This translates directly to higher energy bills for the average American at a time when we simply can not afford more “hidden” taxes.

Open Letter to our Government from a former Lifetime Democrat

This letter was sent into Glenn Beck and the Fox News Agency:

“I’m a home grown American citizen, 53, registered Democrat all my life. Before the last presidential election I registered as a Republican because I no longer felt the Democratic Party represents my views or works to pursue issues important to me. Now I no longer feel the Republican Party represents my views or works to pursue issues important to me. The fact is I no longer feel any political party or representative in Washington represents my views or works to pursue the issues important to me. There must be someone. Please tell me who you are. Please stand up and tell me that you are there and that you’re willing to fight for our Constitution as it was written. Please stand up now. You might ask yourself what my views and issues are that I would horribly feel so disenfranchised by both major political parties. What kind of nut job am I? Will you please tell me?

One, illegal immigration. I want you to stop coddling illegal immigrants and secure our borders. Close the underground tunnels. Stop the violence and the trafficking in drugs and people. No amnesty, not again. Been there, done that, no resolution. P.S., I’m not a racist. This isn’t to be confused with legal immigration.

Two, the TARP bill, I want it repealed and I want no further funding supplied to it. We told you no, but you did it anyway. I want the remaining unfunded 95% repealed. Freeze, repeal.

Three: Czars, I want the circumvention of our checks and balances stopped immediately. Fire the czars. No more czars. Government officials answer to the process, not to the president. Stop trampling on our Constitution and honor it.

Four, cap and trade. The debate on global warming is not over. There is more to say.

Five, universal healthcare. I will not be rushed into another expensive decision. Don’t you dare try to pass this in the middle of the night and then go on break. Slow down!

Six, growing government control. I want states rights and sovereignty fully restored. I want less government in my life, not more. Shrink it down. Mind your own business. You have enough to take care of with your real obligations. Why don’t you start there.

Seven, ACORN. I do not want ACORN and its affiliates in charge of our 2010 census. I want them investigated. I also do not want mandatory escrow fees contributed to them every time on every real estate deal that closes. Stop the funding to ACORN and its affiliates pending impartial audits and investigations. I do not trust them with taking the census over with our taxpayer money. I don’t trust them with our taxpayer money. Face up to the allegations against them and get it resolved before taxpayers get any more involved with them. If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck, hello. Stop protecting your political buddies. You work for us, the people. Investigate.

Eight, redistribution of wealth. No, no, no. I work for my money. It is mine. I have always worked for people with more money than I have because they gave me jobs. That is the only redistribution of wealth that I will support. I never got a job from a poor person. Why do you want me to hate my employers? Why ?? what do you have against shareholders making a profit?

Nine, charitable contributions. Although I never got a job from a poor person, I have helped many in need. Charity belongs in our local communities, where we know our needs best and can use our local talent and our local resources. Butt out, please. We want to do it ourselves.

Ten, corporate bailouts. Knock it off. Sink or swim like the rest of us. If there are hard times ahead, we’ll be better off just getting into it and letting the strong survive. Quick and painful. Have you ever ripped off a Band?Aid? We will pull together. Great things happen in America under great hardship. Give us the chance to innovate. We cannot disappoint you more than you have disappointed us.

Eleven, transparency and accountability. How about it? No, really, how about it? Let’s have it. Let’s say we give the buzzwords a rest and have some straight honest talk. Please try ?? please stop manipulating and trying to appease me with clever wording. I am not the idiot you obviously take me for. Stop sneaking around and meeting in back rooms making deals with your friends. It will only be a prelude to your criminal investigation. Stop hiding things from me.

Twelve, unprecedented quick spending. Stop it now.

Take a breath. Listen to the people. Let’s just slow down and get some input from some nonpoliticians on the subject. Stop making everything an emergency. Stop speed reading our bills into law. I am not an activist. I am not a community organizer. Nor am I a terrorist, a militant or a violent person. I am a parent and a grandparent. I work. I’m busy. I’m busy. I am busy, and I am tired. I thought we elected competent people to take care of the business of government so that we could work, raise our families, pay our bills, have a little recreation, complain about taxes, endure our hardships, pursue our personal goals, cut our lawn, wash our cars on the weekends and be responsible contributing members of society and teach our children to be the same all while living in the home of the free and land of the brave.

I entrusted you with upholding the Constitution. I believed in the checks and balances to keep from getting far off course. What happened? You are very far off course. Do you really think I find humor in the hiring of a speed reader to unintelligently ramble all through a bill that you signed into law without knowing what it contained? I do not. It is a mockery of the responsibility I have entrusted to you. It is a slap in the face. I am not laughing at your arrogance. Why is it that I feel as if you would not trust me to make a single decision about my own life and how I would live it but you should expect that I should trust you with the debt that you have laid on all of us and our children. We did not want the TARP bill. We said no. We would repeal it if we could. I am sure that we still cannot. There is such urgency and recklessness in all of the recent spending.

From my perspective, it seems that all of you have gone insane. I also know that I am far from alone in these feelings. Do you honestly feel that your current pursuits have merit to patriotic Americans? We want it to stop. We want to put the brakes on everything that is being rushed by us and forced upon us. We want our voice back. You have forced us to put our lives on hold to straighten out the mess that you are making. We will have to give up our vacations, our time spent with our children, any relaxation time we may have had and money we cannot afford to spend on you to bring our concerns to Washington. Our president often knows all the right buzzword is unsustainable. Well, no kidding. How many tens of thousands of dollars did the focus group cost to come up with that word? We don’t want your overpriced words. Stop treating us like we’re morons.

We want all of you to stop focusing on your reelection and do the job we want done, not the job you want done or the job your party wants done. You work for us and at this rate I guarantee you not for long because we are coming. We will be heard and we will be represented. You think we’re so busy with our lives that we will never come for you? We are the formerly silent majority, all of us who quietly work , pay taxes, obey the law, vote, save money, keep our noses to the grindstone and we are now looking up at you. You have awakened us, the patriotic spirit so strong and so powerful that it had been sleeping too long. You have pushed us too far. Our numbers are great. They may surprise you. For every one of us who will be there, there will be hundreds more that could not come. Unlike you, we have their trust. We will represent them honestly, rest assured. They will be at the polls on voting day to usher you out of office. We have cancelled vacations. We will use our last few dollars saved. We will find the representation among us and a grassroots campaign will flourish. We didn’t ask for this fight. But the gloves are coming off. We do not come in violence, but we are angry. You will represent us or you will be replaced with someone who will. There are candidates among us when hewill rise like a Phoenix from the ashes that you have made of our constitution.

Democrat, Republican, independent, libertarian. Understand this. We don’t care. Political parties are meaningless to us. Patriotic Americans are willing to do right by us and our Constitution and that is all that matters to us now. We are going to fire all of you who abuse power and seek more. It is not your power. It is ours and we want it back. We entrusted you with it and you abused it. You are dishonorable. You are dishonest. As Americans we are ashamed of you. You have brought shame to us. If you are not representing the wants and needs of your constituency loudly and consistently, in spite of the objections of your party, you will be fired. Did you hear? We no longer care about your political parties. You need to be loyal to us, not to them. Because we will get you fired and they will not save you. If you do or can represent me, my issues, my views, please stand up. Make your identity known. You need to make some noise about it. Speak up. I need to know who you are. If you do not speak up, you will be herded out with the rest of the sheep and we will replace the whole damn congress if need be one by one. We are coming. Are we coming for you? Who do you represent? What do you represent? Listen. Because we are coming. We the people are coming.”

I honestly believe we could not have expressed this any better. We solute her honesty, effort and her patriotism for this great country.
