May God have mercy on us all; for we do not know of the things we are doing.

We can not count the number of tears shed for the lives we have destroyed, of foreigners, as well as our own brothers and sisters in arms who sacrifice more in the first 5 minutes of their day, than a lifetime in the peaceful ivory towers of our U.S. Senate and the Halls of Congress.

We are not pacifists here. But we also do not support an unjust, undeclared war in our name.

We believe there is a time for everything under the sun, but this is not a time to oppress and kill those who would do us no harm.

The National Defense Authorization Act – NDAA Strips Citizens of their Inherent Rights

While 300 million Americans were celebrating the eve of a new year last month; by the stroke of a pen President Barack Obama has signed into law one of the most egregious and heinous laws ever passed in the United States.

Similar to the secret signing into law of the Federal Reserve Act on December 23rd, 1913 while the Senate was away, our President has subjugated the American population without a Direct Democratic vote, without public debate, and without the consent of an informed citizenry.

Your inherent Natural Rights have in essence been stripped.

  • Your right to protections against illegal search and seizure – gone.
  • Your right to be judged by a court of law and a jury of your peers – gone.
  • Your right to retain your own birth citizenship.
  • It removes Posse Comitatus allowing our own military to conduct law enforcement activities on American soil, currently illegal under our U.S. Constitution, sieze our own citizens, remove them by force under rendition to foreign lands under no lawful arrest to be detained indefinitely, tortured if deemed necessary and even executed should the powers that be decide so. No trial, no recourse.
  • No free speech rights.
  • No right to due process.
  • No right to remain silent.
  • No rights under the New War Powers.
  • 1st Amendment, 2nd Amendment, 4th, 5th, 14th, …..  You have no more rights under this Law.

One must seriously ask themselves; who does this law affect?

  1. Terrorists?
  2. Political Dissidents?
  3. Anyone who disagrees with our government and who is outspoken?
  4. Anti-war demonstrators?
  5. Tea Party members?
  6. Preppers?
  7. Citizens who believe in our Constitution, and a smaller central government?
  8. You, Me, our sons and daughters?

We Love Our Country – Not Our Government.

Louisiana Law Outlaws Cash Transactions

During this year’s busy legislative session, an obscure bill (House bill 195) has been signed and has become law in Louisiana. This new law, in what seems more appropriate on a page of George Orwell’s classic “1984″, outlaws the use of cash in transactions during the exchange of second hand goods, i.e. in garage sales. The bill was co-authored by State Representative Rickey Hardey who claims the bill’s intent was to target criminals who sell stolen merchandise.

Interesting… the last time I checked, it was still against the law to steal something; it’s called theft. And for those inquiring minds; I believe it’s still illegal to “receive” stolen property; it’s called imagine that, “receiving stolen property.” I think that sums up both sides of a 2-sided transaction.

Now we’re supposed to believe we need another law to make it illegal to use cash in such a transaction?

The last time I checked the latest CSI: Miami Show (sorry, I can’t speak from experience), criminals don’t usually walk around buying stolen property from each other with credit cards.

The solution, according to Mr. Hardey, is to impose legislation to “track” these transactions, thus punishing 99% of the law-abiding public over the 1% of potential criminals.

The solution in a sane world would be to simply not steal and to not knowingly pay for and receive stolen property. The criminals are already committing a crime when they steal and then attempt to unload their stash. We don’t need a new cash tracking mechanism that will inevitably hurt business, especially with a (%+ unemployment rate in the U.S.

This is another unjust law that deserves nothing less than civil disobedience. It is none of the Government’s business what law abiding citizens are buying and selling or what medium they may be using to transact such agreements, whether barter, gold, silver, cash or jelly beans.

Does the TSA Pat Down of an 8 Month Old Baby Make Us More Secure?

Have we finally lost our God given common sense and our way as a nation?

By the comments posted on MSNBC.com I am starting to believe we may have finally lost our way as a once great nation and a beaming star of hope for other nations around the globe.

In what should be a time to recognize the historical and brave actions of our special forces last week, we are instead given another reminder of what is rapidly becoming very wrong about the Great US of A.

Benjamin Franklin is quoted as saying;

“Those who would give up Essential Liberty to purchase a little Temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.”

Our Founding Fathers understood what personal responsibility and common sense meant. They understood “real” freedom and “real” safety can not be guaranteed by the State. It is only through individual acts of personal responsibility that can ultimately deliver any sense of personal safety and personal freedom.

I am ashamed at the sad state of affairs our policy makers have directed us towards. Why does it take a 9-11 type event to show what our great country and its people are capable of?

In our increasingly complex world we live in I don’t blame those who would rather turn to the excitement of a good football game with friends over spending a little time to read and understand history and how we got here as a people. I don’t blame them for not recognizing we may be just another false flag event away from causing irreversible changes to our country, our way of life, and our constitution.

I know we as individuals are given the ultimate potential to fulfill a great mission in life. My only hope is that we give a little thought and use common sense in our actions. If that means we refuse to enforce those laws, regulations, and policies that are unjust, then that is the conclusion I would expect any reasonable person to make.

I will no doubt receive numerous emails in response to this letter; most likely of the unfavorable sort and that is fine. One right we still partially have is the right to free speech and I’ll fight to the grave for someone else’s right to free speech even if they choose to use that right in speech against me.

My only request is that as you read this short grief, that you step back and look at it from a broader perspective.

This isn’t necessarily about a specific act by a specific organization or particular individual. It is about the overarching trend and path we as U.S. citizens are on at the direction of our policy makers. Today it’s a pat down of an 8 month old baby, what will tomorrow bring, or the next day, or next year? What liberties will we be willing to give up a decade from now for the “perception” of safety?

Those are the honest questions you must ask yourselves and then you must help us get off this path and back on the path of personal responsibility and common sense.

Our rights are ultimately granted under God; rights no Sovereign has the power to change or revoke. It is only faith in our Lord, that we will every truly be safe.

There are risks all around us, there always has been. I for one, however don’t need to see an 8 month old baby patted down to make me feel “safe” while traveling to my aunt Hilda’s house.

A 4th Of July Message for Us All

“The Declaration of Independence”

IN CONGRESS, July 4, 1776″

“The unanimous Declaration of the thirteen united States of America,

When in the course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to separation.”

Good day;

As we stand on this eve of America’s 4th of July Holiday, this day seems ever more pressing as we look at the broader geopolitical arena presented in the world today.

Just 233 years ago on July 4th, 56 individuals including our country’s Founders signed the Declaration of Independence, setting into motion a series of events that would shape not only the formation of our country, but events that would shape the world in ways no one could have conceived of at their time.

The mere act of signing this Declaration, declaring that the then thirteen American Colonies were now independent states, and thus no longer a territorial part of the British Empire, can be likened to these individuals signing their own death warrants. By definition, their signature alone was an act of Treason against the Empire.

Our Founding Fathers understood the rights granted to them under God as Natural Law. That man possesses certain unalienable rights granted not by the sovereign power of a nation or of an empire, but those rights granted under God himself and that no sovereign power may infringe upon those rights.

The signing of that Document by our brilliant Founders was not a treasonous act, but a noble and brave act and one that was demanded of them by divine inspiration. It was not only their patriotic duty to stand forth against a then oppressive empire, but it was their divine duty under God to protect these unalienable rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness for themselves, their families, and their fellow men.

The above paragraph depicts an unquestionable truth in their intent by our Declaration’s 2nd sentence;

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”

It was their intention to build a better country under God’s Natural Law so that their families and fellow man may share in the richness of that country and to not be infringed upon in their daily pursuits.

At the close of the Continental Convention of 1787, a lady asked Benjamin Franklin, “Well, Doctor, what have we got – a Republic or a Monarchy?”
Benjamin Franklin’s response; “A Republic if you can keep it.”

Following in their wisdom, and for the sake of us all, I do hope we can keep our Republic intact as intended by our Founding Fathers.

Let the wisdom of our Founder’s words be a guiding light and inspiration to others in the world facing similar struggles as those faced by the American Colonies in the late 18th century;

Happy 4th of July America and stand strong for others that may be under their own oppressive regimes.
